DOUGLAS, Ga. (WALB) — A 16-year-old was one of three individuals who were arrested in a Coffee County shooting investigation, local and state officials confirmed.

This comes after reports of a shooting on Sunday, June 7, at a home along the Broxton-West Green Highway, according to the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO).

One man, identified as 34-year-old Dustin Ryan Bowen, died after he suffered multiple gunshot wounds, the sheriff’s office said.

CCSO said Bowen was shot “during a dispute involving a canine.”

“Any loss of life is tragic, and this case serves as a stark reminder that personal disagreements, conflicts and disputes over property should never result in violence. There are lawful, safe and effective ways to handle these situations. If you need to retrieve property, conduct an exchange or resolve a matter that could potentially become confrontational, call 911 and request the presence of law enforcement. Our deputies are available to help keep the peace and ensure everyone’s safety.”

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) arrested and charged the three individuals, according to a June 8 press release. Their names and charges are as follows:

Breanalee Nichole Lollie, 24, from Douglas:

• Party to the Crime of Murder

Raymond Ressler, 18, from Douglas

The 16-year-old, who was unidentified:

• Murder
• Aggravated Assault

Lollie and Ressler were reportedly booked into the Coffee County Jail on Monday, while the 16-year-old was taken to the Regional Youth Detention Center.
