Description
ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Today has been near record cold, with temperatures hovering in the low 50s with winds gusting up to 30 mph keeping wind chills in the 40s. Tonight we will hit rock bottom, with a widespread freeze expected across SGA as temperatures plunge into the mid-upper 20s, continuing the near record cold trend.
Tuesday afternoon will be less windy and temperatures will be a tad warmer, only in the mid 50s. Another below freezing night is likely Wednesday morning, and then a huge 40 degree warmup in the afternoon marks the beginning of a warming trend that takes us into the weekend.
