ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - A portion of N. Harding Street will be closed for construction.

Beginning Friday, Dec. 13, at 8 a.m., N. Harding Street will be closed from 6th Avenue to 8th Avenue.

While construction is underway, 7th Avenue Alley, 7th Avenue, and 8th Avenue Alley will also be blocked from N. Cleveland Street to N. Van Buren Street.

Work is expected to last about a week or until the project is complete.

Drivers should plan alternate routes and avoid the area until crews have cleared the roads.
