VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) - On Tuesday, Dec. 2nd at 6 p.m., Valdosta State University will host its annual Holiday Celebration and Lighting of the Palms on a winter-wonderland themed front lawn.

This event marks the official start of the holiday season at VSU, and it’s open to the public at no cost.

President of the University, Dr. Richard A. Carvajal, invites Blazer Nation friends and neighbors of all ages.

The event will provide hot chocolate, a holiday maze, a mechanical reindeer, and festive music by the VSU spotlighters.
