Description
DECATUR COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - Two are dead following a Thanksgiving Day double homicide.
The homicides occurred at 151 Hunter Road in Decatur County.
Names of the deceased can not be released at this time.
Decatur County Sheriff’s Office investigators are on scene. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is assisting with the investigation.
Chief Wendell Cofer says that there is no active threat to the community. They do have a suspect, and agencies out of Florida are assisting.
WALB has reached out to the GBI for more information and will update when we know more.
