Description
K-5th grade homeschool students learn together in the gallery and work together on a take-home project in the AMA Classroom.
Homeschooled students benefit immensely from visiting the AMA, which provides a rich visual environment to address a wide range of topics, including cultural awareness and understanding, critical thinking skills, and the practical, real-life application of literature, history, mathematics, language arts, and science.
In the classroom, students practice new artistic techniques, develop social skills, enhance fine motor skills, and cultivate creativity. This in-gallery and hands-on exposure complements traditional homeschooling methods, enhancing their understanding of various subjects.
COST: $15, or $10 for AMA donors.
