Thanks to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, our catfish pond has been stocked, giving the catfish plenty of time to grow.

Catfish have whisker-like barbels that help them sense food in the dark, play an important role in the ecosystem by keeping water clean and controlling insect populations, and some catfish can "talk" by making sounds to communicate!

Whether you’re an experienced angler or trying fishing for the first time, the Catfish Rodeo is the perfect way to enjoy nature and learn about these fascinating fish.
