DOUGHERTY COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - Two men were arrested following a robbery on Monday, May 26, according to the Dougherty County Police Department (DCPD).
Officials said the two men — Emanuel Peters, 24, and Markeith Fisher, 27 — robbed a 61-year-old man of $16 and four lottery tickets that were in his shirt pocket. One of the suspects pointed a gun at the victim, the police department said.
DCPD said the two suspects were arrested and charged with the following:
- Armed robbery
- Aggravated assault with a firearm
- Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony
The police department said this robbery happened in the 3400 block of Aristedes Avenue.
