ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Two men accused of trafficking nearly 1,600 pounds of methamphetamine in blackberry shipments are facing federal charges.
FBI Atlanta said 419 kilos were found at a home on Custer Avenue SE “in a shipment of blackberries inside a refrigerated truck parked outside the home" on Black Friday.
Another 300 kilos of meth were found in another refrigerated box truck outside of a business on McEver Road in Hall County.
Both shipments are “believed to have been brought into the United States from Mexico.”
