Description
TONIGHT: Looking to stay warm and dry this evening. Temperatures will drop into the 70s by midnight and eventually bottom out in the upper 60s early Sunday morning. Patchy fog will be possible in the late overnight and early morning hours, especially for locations closer to the Georgia-Alabama border.

SUNDAY: Clouds and humidity will increase, but we will stay mostly dry. Temperatures will be widespread in the upper 80s, maybe a few low 90s. A stray shower or two will be possible, especially Sunday night. Our northwestern counties near the Georgia-Alabama border have the best chances for a few showers and heavy cloud cover tomorrow, which will likely keep temperatures a few degrees less there.

MONDAY - TUESDAY: Mornings will be warmer and muggier, temperatures widespread in the low 70s. Afternoons will stay toasty, highs floating in the upper 80s around 90°. Humidity will also increase, heat indices will be in the low 90s. A few isolated showers will be possible on Monday, with better chances Tuesday. Any rainfall looks to be light, likely not beneficial to the drought.

WEDNESDAY - END OF WEEK: The Summertime pattern will be in full force, bring high heat and humidity. Morning lows will be warm and muggy in the low 70s. Highs will be widespread in the low-mid 90s with heat indices pushing into the mid-upper 90s.

Increased heat and humidity will keep the storm chance around, but it looks to remain on the isolated side centered around sea breezes. Most long term models have South Georgia more dry than wet this week.
