ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — It’s a big day for some lucky kids in Albany! Academy Sports + Outdoors is giving back to the community in a major way with a $5,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Albany.

As part of the celebration, 20 members from the club will get a chance to tour the store and enjoy a shopping experience with a special gift card from Academy.

The donation and event are part of Academy’s continued effort to support youth programs and encourage active lifestyles across Georgia.

From sporting gear to school essentials, the evening promises fun, excitement, and plenty of smiles reminding everyone that generosity and community spirit go hand in hand.
