ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - [Update 4/9/26 @5:10 p.m.] According to the Albany Police Department, Rodney has been located safely and has returned home.

[Original article] The Albany Police Department (APD) is urgently asking for the public’s help to find Rodney Harvey, a 14-year-old boy who has been missing since Wednesday, April 8, 2026.

According to APD’S Facebook page, Harvey was last seen in Albany near the intersection of West Society Avenue and North Davis Street, where he was getting off a bus. He is described as having a medium build, standing 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 90 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

At the time he went missing, Harvey was wearing a grey pullover with a Super Mario logo, black pants, and grey and white Reebok shoes.

APD officials are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the APD at (229) 431-2100.
