ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — Albany police are asking for the public’s help identifying a gunman who opened fire on a DoorDash delivery driver outside a Radium Springs Road bar last week.

The shooting occurred on Radium Springs Road on Aug. 6, according to police. No arrest has been made.

Officers responded around 3 a.m. after a woman, who was working for DoorDash that night, called 911 to report she had been shot while making a delivery to DJ’s On the Flint.

The woman reportedly told police she had stopped near Deems Water Ice to contact a customer when a man in a red shirt, she believed to be in his 40s, fired several shots in her direction.

Police say her vehicle was not struck and the delivery driver was not injured.

Officers recovered two spent 9mm shell casings at the scene. Investigators are reviewing evidence and nearby video surveillance.
