AMERICUS, Ga. (WALB) — [UPDATE: 7/7 @9:10 p.m.] Chief Mark Scott of the Americus Police Department reached out to WALB and stated that the missing teen has been located in Americus and is fine.

[Original article] Americus Police Department is searching for a 16-year-old reported missing Tuesday, July 7.

Police said a missing persons report for Cadarius Goodwin, 16, was filed around 12:43 a.m. Goodwin was last seen around 9 p.m. Monday.

Officers have been searching for Goodwin, but he has not been located, according to police. Police said Goodwin has been entered into the Georgia Crime Information Center as missing.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
