ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) —A new Black-owned business just opened up shop at Albany Mall.

Raven’s Style Vault Boutique, owned by Terri Raven, had its grand opening and ribbon cutting on Sunday, Sept. 6.

Raven has had the vision to open her own boutique for the last few years. Although she was scared and nervous, she didn’t let that stop her from fulfilling her dream.

She didn’t get to this point by herself, though. With the support of her kids and her late husband, Raven was able to birth the dream she once envisioned.

“We all came together, my children and I, and we decided we would make this a family boutique,” said Raven.
