ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Two people have been charged in connection with a shooting in the 900 block of Holloway Avenue that left one person dead and four others wounded, according to the Albany Police Department.

Police said the shooting happened on April 28, 2026, at the corner of Holloway Avenue and S. Cleveland Street. Investigators reported there was one fatality and four wounded victims.

During the investigation, detectives identified a suspect vehicle registered to Braylen Robinson. Police said investigators determined Robinson and Jyquaze Reese were co-conspirators in the case. Both have been charged in connection with the shooting death of Kiambria Young, as well as the shootings of four other people, police said.

According to APD, Reese was arrested and jailed on May 4, 2026, on charges of murder, four counts of aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during a felony.

Police said Robinson was arrested and jailed on April 29, 2026, for a separate incident. Additional charges were added on May 4, 2026, including party to the crime of murder, four counts of party to the crime of aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during a felony (party to the crime).

Investigators said they are still working to determine the identity and location of any other suspects.
