DECATUR COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - In Decatur County, one local rapper took time out of his day to give back to those in need this holiday season. Over the weekend, he and his team helped feed more than 250 families.

On Saturday, November 22nd, rapper Ronnie Vickers Jr. known by his stage name “Bill” hosted a turkey giveaway in the Walmart parking lot in Bainbridge. The event was aimed at helping families celebrate Thanksgiving with a warm meal.

According to Bill, he was able to provide turkeys and food items to over 250 families. When asked what inspired him to organize the giveaway, he shared, “It’s a lot of people that need help in the city, so I just wanted to show love and give back to my city. Hopefully I can give back to my community every year.”

The giveaway brought smiles, gratitude, and the spirit of giving to many families across Decatur County.
