THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WCTV) - The city of Thomasville is temporarily closing Vine Street between North Dawson Street and North Short Broad Street for repairs, the city said in a press release.
City officials said crews are replacing a storm drain pipe and water main on Vine Street. Work begins on Tuesday at about 8 a.m. and is expected to last three weeks.
Alternative routes will be posted on detour signs, but the city said travelers should expect delays and are “encouraged to select an alternate route.”
However, the road will remain open to local traffic.
