COFFEE COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) – The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a man investigators say is responsible for multiple auto thefts and burglaries across the area.

According to deputies, James Dustin Cribbs, 35, has been on the run for nearly two weeks. Units from the Criminal Investigations Division (CID), the Douglas-Coffee Drug Unit (DCDU), and the DICE Unit have been actively searching for him.

The sheriff’s office has released a wanted flyer showing the individual they are seeking. The flyer lists his age, physical description, and urges residents to come forward with any information that could help lead to his arrest. Authorities say tips can be submitted anonymously through the sheriff’s office mobile app or by calling CCSO Detectives at 912-384-4227.

Deputies are encouraging the community to stay alert and report any sightings or suspicious activity as the search continues.
