MOULTRIE, Ga. (WALB) — Wednesday, a jury found a Colquitt County man not guilty of child sex crimes.

In Feb. 2024, Xzavior Lorenzo Brown was indicted for the following charges:

• Aggravated Sexual Battery
• Aggravated Child Molestation
• Criminal Attempt to Commit a Felony

According to the official verdict form, Brown was found not guilty of all of the charges above.

The indictment accused Brown of committing sexual acts with a child under the age of 16 years in Oct. 2023.

“We want to thank the jury for taking the time to hear all the evidence and rendering a true and fair verdict consistent with the evidence.”
