COLQUITT COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - [UPDATE - Jan. 28, 1 p.m.]: Lee Roberts was reportedly located Wednesday, Jan. 28. He was returned safely to his family, according to the Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office.

Roberts’ son, Dakota Daniel said learning that Roberts was found was a relief.

“A sigh of relief from everybody— the whole family," Daniel said. “It was very nerve-wracking for us, throughout the entire process...I’m glad that he’s safe. I’m glad that things are on the mend now, and that hopefully that healing can continue to take place across everybody that was affected by it.”

According to police, Roberts has not been seen since mid-January in the Bear Creek area of Colquitt County. His family says that he does not have a phone or a vehicle.

CCSO asks anyone who may have information regarding Roberts’ whereabouts to contact the Criminal Investigations Division at (229) 616-7460.
