ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — A local church and community organizers are planning a discussion on the current state of Albany’s education system.
Mt. Zion Baptist Church has partnered with groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center and A Brown’s Promise to host a conversation about the quality of education for Albany’s youth.
Community organizers are urging parents and students to attend and share feedback.
The event will be held Saturday, June 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
