CORDELE, Ga. (WALB) — The Cordele Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the early morning hours Sunday in the 1100 block of South Joe Wright Drive, according to the department.

One adult male was struck multiple times and remains hospitalized, police said. The investigation is ongoing.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Cordele Police Department at 229-276-2921.
