DONALSONVILLE, Ga. (WALB) — The Donalsonville-Seminole County Airport Commission and local leaders celebrated the opening of the airport’s new terminal building Friday morning with a dedication ceremony.

Community members and guests gathered at the airport to mark the milestone and tour the new facility.

Officials say the terminal represents a significant investment in both the airport and the surrounding region, with the goal of supporting long-term economic growth.

Leaders also say the expansion is expected to boost tourism, improve transportation options, and enhance public service opportunities throughout Seminole County and Southwest Georgia.
