TONIGHT: Light showers and sprinkles continue through the evening and overnight. Fog will set up tonight and linger through early-mid morning on Sunday. Temperatures won’t change much, evening temps are in the mid-upper 60s. Overnight lows may settle a couple degrees in the low-mid 60s.

MOTHER’S DAY: Rain chances have dropped. A few showers could linger in the early morning, before drier heading into the afternoon with at least some sun! Highs will be in the low 80s.

Widespread rainfall is not likely at all, but a few pop up showers and storms along the sea breeze front in the mid-late afternoon will be possible. Chances hover at around 20-40%. Best chances exist along the Florida-Georgia border, drier the further north you are from the border. If a stray storm does pop, it has a 5% chance to bring damaging winds and hail with it.

MONDAY: A cold front brings the next significant rainfall to South Georgia. Thunderstorms are likely, especially in the afternoon. There looks to be a severe risk as well, the main impact being straight-line damaging winds. Cold front pushes through South Georgia by the end of the day with cooler and drier weather setting up for the rest of the week.

TUESDAY-END OF WEEK: Cool starts in the mid-upper 50s, and warming afternoons. High temperatures start in the upper 70s Tuesday and work into the mid-upper 80s by the weekend. Lots of sunshine with no rainfall in the forecast.
