ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — The Dougherty County Police Department (DCPD) had a very special visitor on Friday, April 3 — the Easter Bunny stopped by to prepare for Operation Easter Egg Rescue, officials said.

DCPD said the famous bunny came to the Good Life City on Good Friday to help spread smiles, excitement and some holiday cheer.

The Easter Bunny and DCPD officials are gearing up for an egg hunt Saturday, April 4. DCPD said families and children of all ages are welcome to attend. The hunt will take place at Radium Springs Garden from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Radium Springs Garden is located at 2501 Radium Springs Road.

DCPD said in addition to his visit Friday, the Easter Bunny will be in attendance at the Saturday egg rescue. Happy Easter!
