DOOLY COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - A reward is being offered for information in a deadly June 17 hit-and-run in Dooly County.

A $12,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the driver responsible for his death. The family of Richard Alan Dykes is offering $10,000, and the Macon Regional Crimestoppers office is offering an additional $2,000.

WALB previously reported that Dykes was hit and killed at around 6 a.m. on I-75 near mile marker 109 in Dooly County. A tractor-trailer is believed to be the vehicle involved in the crash. The driver did not stop and has not yet been identified.

The family is working with Macon Regional Crimestoppers to ask for the public’s help in finding the driver and vehicle involved in the crash.
