BECKLEY, W.Va. (WKRC) — A father is facing 152 charges, including 149 counts of incest, after allegedly sexually abusing his daughter for over a decade, leading to the birth of three children.

Kenneth Ray Cook, 44, allegedly began the abuse in 2012 when his daughter was 9 years old and continued until she was 21, according to court documents that PEOPLE reported.

Cook was initially charged in April with sexual abuse, sexual assault, child neglect and three counts of incest.

He was indicted on June 3, based on the testimony of a deputy, and now faces additional charges, with the most recent dated July 2024.

WVVA reported that the children born from the alleged abuse were found suffering from neglect.

One child, who was 1 year old at the time, was discovered in a neglectful condition in August, according to court records that PEOPLE reported.

Cook has been held at Southern Regional Jail since March on a $500,000 bond.
