SYLVESTER, Ga. (WALB) — The city of Sylvester reminds citizens to register golf carts that will attend the July 4, Fireworks celebration.
The city requires all golf carts to be registered before to July 4, according to a city press release. Citizens can register their golf carts at City Hall Located at 101 north Main Street.
Once registered the driver will be issued a decal that must be put on the golf cart.
No Individual under the age of 18 is allowed to drive a golf cart in the city. During the Fireworks celebration all golf carts must be parked at the Mary Alice Shipp Senior Center, located at 710 West, Price St.
Side by sides, Polaris, and unauthorized golf carts will be towed.
Sylvester’s July 4th firework show is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. The pledge of Allegiance will be said at 6:30 followed by the National Anthem at 6:45. A concert to take place at 7:00.
