Description
FRIDAY PM: Heavy rain and thunderstorms will hang around until this evening, some can be strong to severe. All of South Georgia is under a Marginal risk for severe weather with the main threats of flash flooding, gusty winds and frequent lightning. Afternoon highs will near the mid 80s.
SATURDAY: Morning hours start drier with peeks of sunshine but mostly cloudy skies. Afternoon showers and storms will return bringing heavy downpours but not everyone will see the rain. Afternoon highs will reach the upper 80s. Summer solstice begins at 10:22pm for the astronomical start to summer.
SUNDAY: Rain chances decrease in the morning but a a few afternoon showers and storms are possible in the afternoon. Highs will stay in the upper 80s.
MONDAY: Our best chances of having a full break from the rain. Mostly sunny skies to kick off the work week with highs trending back to the low 90s.
MID WEEK: More seasonable weather enters with rain chances increasing for those typical afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Highs will stick around in the 90s.
