Description

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — After dry and mild conditions last week, humidity has returned to South Georgia as the flow has returned from the Gulf, pumping in moisture leading to cloud cover and increased rain chances.

With the increased moisture, the 50s and lower 60s of last week are long gone, with temperatures starting out this morning in the low to mid 70s. Highs today and tomorrow will be in the mid to upper 80s, with the thermometer creeping at or above the 90 degree mark by midweek.

Scattered showers and storms will be in the picture for the upcoming weekend with highs in the lower 90s and lows in the 70-75 degree range. It won’t rain all day in any given location, but just have alternate plans in case you have anything going on outdoors this weekend, especially in the afternoon and early evening hours.
