ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - A man reported missing by the Albany Police Department (APD) has reportedly been found safe.
On August 13, APD made a Facebook post asking for help to find Joseph Lee Turner, a man with dementia and severe behavioral health issues.
According to APD, Turner had been missing for 9 days after he was reportedly dropped off in Albany by the Thomasville Crisis Center, transferred to the Albany Rescue Mission, and then allegedly sent to the Salvation Army. But both locations confirmed that Turner did not check.
APD says Turner was found safe at Aspire located at 601 11th Avenue around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday night.
