ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — Officers were called out to Truist Bank, located at 410 W. Broad Ave. on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 2:14 p.m. regarding a “reported threat,” according to an Albany Police Department (APD) release.
Officials say David Milliner (53) reached out to multiple people in his family and close friends and told them that he was on his way to the bank to harm his estranged wife. According to APD, the two have been separated for months.

“The statements prompted a significant law enforcement response. The woman was escorted from the bank, and the bank was placed on lockdown as officers worked to located Milliner.”
Officials found Milliner, and he was taken into custody. He was charged with Terroristic Threats Acts and taken to the Dougherty County Jail.
