DOUGHERTY COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) – The Dougherty County Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating Franklin Dismuke III, who is wanted in connection with a violent family incident that occurred earlier this month.
On Friday, June 6, 2025, around 9:25 a.m., officers responded to a residence at 200 block of Holly Drive after receiving a report of a domestic dispute.
When officers arrived, they spoke with the victim, who told police she had been physically assaulted by her boyfriend, identified as Dismuke. The victim suffered serious injuries, including a laceration to her mouth and a broken rib.
Following an investigation, authorities issued two active warrants for Dismuke’s arrest:
- Battery – Family Violence
- Aggravated Assault – Family Violence
The Dougherty County Police Department continues to investigate and urges anyone with information about Dismuke’s whereabouts to call (229) 430-6600 or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS. All information will remain confidential.
