ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Mediacom is awarding $1,000 World Class Scholarships to two Monroe High School seniors.

The winners are Knia Gullett and Antonio Guest. Mediacom says the scholarships honor their leadership, community involvement aWnd academic success.

Regional Vice President Mitch Arnevik said the company is proud to invest in “future leaders” like Knia and Antonio, and congratulated the entire Monroe High class of 2026.

Mediacom CEO Giuseppe Commisso said supporting students today is key to a more innovative and prosperous future.

This is the 25th straight year Mediacom has funded its World Class Scholarship program. One hundred graduating seniors in the company’s service areas are receiving $1,000 awards to help pay for college or technical school in the U.S.
