JOHNSON COUNTY, Ga. (WGXA) — One person is dead and another was injured during a shooting at a Wrightsville apartment complex on Friday afternoon.
According to the Wrightsville Police Department (WPD), the shooting happened around 4:45 p.m. at a residence in the area of S. Marcus Street at Pine Terrace Apartments.
Officers and deputies with the Johnson County Sheriff's Office arrived to find two people injured and rushed them to the hospital. However, one person died from their injuries.

WPD is urging the public to be cautious as law enforcement and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation process the scene.
