According to the City of Perry’s Facebook page, officials have issued a precautionary boil water advisory for areas south of North Perry Parkway.

The city says the advisory is being issued out of an abundance of caution due to the potential for a health hazard from possible microbial contamination.

Water customers in the affected area are urged to boil all water until further notice. Officials say additional testing is underway and results are expected within 24 hours. The city will notify residents once the advisory has been lifted.
