SYLVESTER, Ga. (WALB) - Phoebe is expanding to offer urgent care services in Sylvester. Soon, the Phoebe Worth Family Medicine Clinic will also be home to Phoebe Worth Urgent Care.

The clinic, located at 1014 West Franklin Street, will be open on weekdays from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. and on weekends from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

According to Phoebe, urgent care services at the clinic will be available beginning in September.

Phoebe Worth Urgent Care will offer care for illnesses and ,injuries including:

• Asthma and allergies
• Testing for flu, strep, COVID-19, and RSV
• Coughs, sore throats, ear aches and sinus infections
• Cuts requiring minor stitching
• Infections, including pink eye, urinary tract and more
• Sprains, strains, minor broken bones and simple fractures
• Skin conditions, from rashes to poison ivy
• Vomiting and diarrhea
• Drug screenings

The urgent care will treat patients of all ages. Walk-ins, appointments, and virtual visits will all be accepted.

Phoebe Urgent cares accept most major insurers and a range of payment options.
