Thu, October 16th 2025 at 4:55 PMWASHINGTON COUNTY, Ga. (WGXA) — An 18-wheel truck flipped over while traveling on Fall Line Freeway in Washington County.
According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office (WCSO), early Thursday morning, deputies, fire rescue and emergency services responded to an overturned 18-wheeler on the freeway right before Panther Branch Road.
Sheriff Joel Cochran says the front end of the driver's truck started shaking and drifting off the roadway. The driver then tried to turn left, and the vehicle overturned on its side due to the weight of the cargo shifting.

No injuries were reported, and WCSO urged caution in the area as crews worked to clear the scene. However, around 1:30 p.m., crews were able to lift the truck.
