ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — Authorities are asking the community to come forward with information a year after a 24-year-old man was shot and killed at an Albany nightclub.

Albany Police Department (APD) says they are still seeking leads in the murder of Rasheed Moore, who was found shot in the parking lot of the former Spotless Nightclub on N. Mock Road and died at a local hospital on Aug. 16, 2025.

Less than a month after the shooting, three men were arrested in the case, including Charles Anthony Porter, who was initially charged with murder and possession of a dangerous weapon, according to APD.

Anyone present the night of the shooting is asked to come forward.

“Even the smallest detail could help investigators move this case forward and provide answers for Moore’s family,” APD said. “If you know something, say something.”

Investigators urge anyone present the night of the shooting to contact Albany Crime Stoppers at 229-436-TIPS (8477), submit a tip through the Albany Police Department Mobile App, or contact the lead case investigator at 229-302-0756.
