ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Severe thunderstorms rolled through South Georgia early this morning, leaving many residents without power.

Crews have been working to restore electricity across the South Georgia region.

Colquitt EMC

• Reports at least 5 active outages affecting 5 customers.

Georgia EMC

• Reports around 20 active outages affecting 104 customers in the South and Southwest region.

Georgia Power

• Reports around 10 outages affecting 400 customers.

Mitchell EMC

• Reports 9 outages that are affecting 10 customers.
