AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Friday is the last day to explore Amazon’s Prime Day deals.

But how much time are you willing to spend thinking about any deals worth the money?

As we all know, back-to-school shopping is in full swing, and you might want the best supplies for your buck.

There are multiple tools available to find out if the deal presented is even a steal at all.

We heard from an expert with one of the companies hoping to help you save money.

You can use camelcamelcamel.com to track the price history of items sold online so you can see if it’s actually on sale or not.

The representative applauded Amazon for having some real deals this year.

According to the numbers on big retail, items like the iPad 11 are saving consumers 20%, which is a 2025 record low.

Some deals are also saving consumers money on fashion, beauty products and footwear.

No matter what the deal presented is, the spokesperson says you need to do your research before you commit to losing money.

“So, if you do pay attention to the deals that are available now, I mean, yes, you have Amazon Prime that is going on, but the other retailers are also competing for your attention and your dollars. So, you’ll see Walmart, Target, Kohl’s, and even Home Depot. They are all going and having sales right now. And so doing that quick research to see where the best deal because it might not actually be on Amazon,” said Stephanie Carls with Retail Me Not.

She says stores are more willing to price match right now than ever before.

Carls also says to deal stack as much as possible with promo codes and coupons to get the most for your money.
