NICHOLLS, Ga. (WALB) — La Cocina 2-GO in Albany received an 85 on its food service inspection Friday, Sept. 18.

They received 3 infractions; all were corrected while the inspector was in the building, 2 were new violations, and 1 was a repeat violation.

Below is a list of the infractions:

1. Violation of Code: [511-6-1.04(4)(c)1(iv)] Observed chicken wings stored in the walk-in cooler uncovered. Corrected On-Site.  Repeat Violation.
2. Violation of Code: [511-6-1.04(6)(f)] Observed tomatoes maintained at a temperature above 41 degrees Fahrenheit in the prep top cooler.Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.
3. Violation of Code: [511-6-1.04(6)(f)] Observed rice maintained at a temperature below 135 degrees Fahrenheit at the steam table. Corrected On-Site. New Violation.

Rolling Cafe is a food truck based in Nicholls. They are best known for their extensive menu, which has options for Mexican, American, and Cajun cuisine.

Owned by Barbara Carter, they opened in March of 2023 and continue to attend community events.
