DOUGLAS, Ga. (WALB) - According to the Douglas Police Department, on Dec 11 at around 5:36 p.m., they received a report of a shooting in the area of North Pearl. Officers were advised that one individual had been shot.

Officials say the victim was transported to the hospital by private vehicle before officers arrived.

Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
