BERRIEN COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — A South Georgia man is facing up to 30 years in prison for sextorting a teenager, the U.S. Attorney’s Office Middle District of Georgia announced Tuesday, Jan. 27.

Cenobio Olguin, Jr., 24, pled guilty Tuesday to attempted production of child pornography.

Investigators said Olguin sextorted a 16-year-old Ohio girl on Snapchat, threatening to release explicit images.

A tip led the FBI to Olguin’s home, where child pornography was found on his phone.

He faces a mandatory minimum of 15 years and up to 30 years in federal prison. Sentencing has been set for a later date.
