Description
TONIGHT: Temperatures will be comfortable this evening and overnight, only falling into the mid 60s early Monday morning. We look to stay mostly dry tonight, but another round of fog will be likely. Fog should lift by mid morning.

MONDAY: We look mostly dry and cloudy through your Monday morning. Temperatures early in the afternoon will likely reach into the low 80s, if clouds manage to clear some. Spotty storms look to start popping in the afternoon across South Georgia. A few of these storms could turn severe, the main impact being damaging straight-line winds. Small hail, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours are also concerns.

Heading into the evening, widely scattered storms will start taking shape. Damaging winds will continue to be the main concern heading through the evening. Overall coverage and exact locations of these storms is still debated among models. The model below shows storms further north. However, there are other models depicting more storms towards the south.

Depending on where these storms set up, that is where the most rainfall will lie. Meaningful rainfall generally looks spotty, some locations could see a lot, while others not so much. Locations lucky to see storms could see 1-2″+, elsewhere, lighter showers likely will accumulate less than 1/2″ of rainfall, if any at all.

TUESDAY-FRIDAY: Cooler temperatures are felt on Tuesday as highs struggle to reach 80° and overnight lows drop into the upper 50s. Not much change through the work week as highs linger in the low-mid 80s, and overnight lows near 60°. Sunny skies will be the story after Monday, and those take you right into the weekend.
NEXT WEEKEND: An upper level ridge starts to build, leading to warmer temperatures and keeping rain chances near 0 for the weekend. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s flirting with 90°.
