AMERICUS, Ga. (WALB) - Sumter County Emergency Management is collecting donations for victims affected by wildfires in southeast Georgia, according to Sumter County Fire Rescue.
Donations can be dropped off at Sumter County Fire and Rescue, 300 McMath Mill Road in Americus.
According to Sumter County Fire and Rescue, needed items include:
- Water
- Personal hygiene products
- Diapers
- Wipes
- Canned goods
- Non-perishable items
- Blankets
- Clothing
