PERRY, Ga. (WALB) - The Perry Police Department and the Houston County District Attorney’s Office have announced an arrest in connection to a quadruple homicide.

According to the Perry Police Department (PPD), three women and a toddler were found slain inside a Perry home on April 4, 2025, after officers were called to conduct a welfare check.

The deceased have been identified as Tuquondea Robinson, 37; Michelle Joiner, 51; Beaulah Robinson, 82; and a two-year-old child.

Perry Police later told WGXA that three of the victims were stabbed, while the fourth was suffocated.

On Thursday, May 15, detectives charged Michael James Jordan, 34, in connection with the deaths of four individuals found at a residence on Gaines Drive.

Jordan has been charged with:

• Four counts of Malice Murder
• Four counts of Felony Murder
• Four counts of Aggravated Assault
• Three counts of Possession of a Knife During the Commission of Certain Felonies
• One count of First-Degree Child Abuse
• One count of Abuse and Neglect of a Person Over 65
• One count of Abuse and Neglect of a Person with Disabilities

Jordan is currently being held without bond at the Houston County Detention Center.

“We want to assure the community that this was an isolated incident, and there is no ongoing threat to public safety, This arrest is the result of the tireless work of our investigators and partner agencies, who worked around the clock to bring justice to the victims and their families.”

The Perry Police Department expressed its gratitude to Houston County District Attorney Eric Edwards and his staff, as well as the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Perry Office Crime Scene Unit, for their assistance in this case.
