THOMAS COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - The Thomas County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) announced three separate drug arrests they made on May 20 and 21. Each of the three men arrested now face charges for intent to distribute.

The first arrest was Demetrius Dontae Ross on May 20. TCSO said officials served a search warrant to a residence on South Street in Thomasville which led to Ross’ arrest.

The sheriff’s office said they seized approximately 2.25 ounces of Alpha-PVP, several digital scales, baggies, a pistol with ammo, $6,137 and a vehicle during the search.

Ross was charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance (Alpha-PVP) with the intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and obstruction of an officer, according to TCSO.

Next, also on May 20, TCSO said they arrested Anthony Lamar White, Jr. White was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana, each with the intent to distribute. White’s arrest came after officials executed a search warrant at a residence on Sanford Heights in Thomasville.

Then, TCSO shared that they arrested Bobby Cleveland, Jr. on May 21 after serving simultaneous search warrants at JR Tire Shop and at an address in the 300 block of Lester Street. Cleveland was charged with trafficking cocaine and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, the sheriff’s office said. TCSO seized about four ounces of crack and powder cocaine, 11 ounces of marijuana and $2,100 between the two search warrants.
