COLQUITT COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — United Way of Colquitt County is honoring three teachers for their impact on students.

Brenna Hill, Shemika Walker, and Whitney Pitts have been chosen for the Teacher Appreciation Recognition and Classroom Support Grant.

United Way said the teachers were nominated repeatedly for their leadership, compassion, mentorship, and commitment to students.

The grant will help them continue teaching and serving students.
